About Me

The possibility of predicting the future using existing data fascinates me and also finding out some unique insights
from data that are not apparent at first look satisfies my curious appetite.
As data is the new oil, the potential, and possibilities intrigue me.
I have an unquenchable enthusiasm for learning new knowledge and skills due to the rapid growth and constantly changing
characteristics of the data science field. I also pride myself in having an inner drive that helps me when I meet obstacles.
I effectively communicate results by creating a story to present facts and figures
to facilitate understanding for anyone.

Regression Model to predict the final score of a navigational Game

Researchers from UCL conducted research on how spatial ability varies across different socio-economic backgrounds. They created a game called sea hero quest to test navigational ability. Another game city hero quest was created to test navigational ability in a different environment. The aim of the project was to find insights into player's performance in the city hero quest and compare the results to UCL research. After conducting exploratory data analysis on the data, a regression model was built to predict the final score of a player based on the performance in the 1st round of the game. A prediction model was also built using a decision tree and the results were compared to the regression models.

Entrepreneurial Experience

Pre ordering Food App

During my undergrad, we had a long queue in the university cafeteria. We were spending a lot of time waiting for our food. So I built an app that would allow students to pre-order food and collect the food in the cafeteria rather than wait in a queue. This gained traction and had more than 100 users.

Website Blocker

During Covid, it was difficult to concentrate on work with youtube and social media one tab away. So I built a desktop application that would take in the websites to be blocked for a specific time and deny access to the user for those websites for a specific time period. I asked my friends and family to use it. I also ran Facebook ads to get user traction. Was able to acquire more than 500 users in a span of 6 months.
